The Latest - May 11, 2010
We're all doing well and staying busy. Adeline has already made 10 lbs, up from just over 6 lbs a week after birth. Vincent's putting longer and longer sentences together and generally keeping us entertained with his shenanigans. Rachelle had her six week post-op check-up today, and everything looks great. I have to leave for three weeks of trial later this month, so I'm even busier than usual trying to get things ready for me to go.
We recently took a weekend trip to Ocean City, MD, with a group of friends. A few pictures got taken, which I have posted. It was a nice trip. We hope to a similar trip again in June.
And last, but not least: we bought a house! We'll only move a couple of miles away from our current place, but we'll get to move out of a townhouse into a detached house. We close in mid-June, and we'll probably move-in sometime during July. Yea for not paying rent anymore!
It's a GIRL! - March 29, 2010
Adeline Isabelle arrived at 9:11 a.m. this morning weighing 6 lbs. 8 oz. and measuring 19.25 inches. With light brown hair and dark blue eyes, she mirrors Vincent as a newborn (i.e. she's gorgeous ;-). Mom and baby are doing very well.
The Latest - January 24, 2010
Quick overview of the past several months:
Vince turns two in less than a week! His vocabulary continues to grow exponentially. He has even begun putting his own sentences together.
T-minus 10 weeks until Baby #2 arrives! Rachelle's monthly prego checkups have all gone well. Everything looks good.
Rachelle has met lots of new people. She discovered "Mommy groups," of which Northern VA has many. They get together weekly for play-dates.
I've grown this year's beard.
The Latest - Nov. 18, 2009
Okay, so we haven't done well with keeping the website updated. Sorry! I started work this month and have gotten busy there. And Rachelle now chases Vincent around on her own so she has gotten busy too.
But we posted pictures today! I put up a bunch from our trip to Shenandoah National Park last month. I put them up a while back but sent out an e-mail. I intended to give them captions and cut out duplicates. I guess I never will.
I just put the new sonogram pictures up though! Enjoy!

The heartbeat of Baby Two at thirteen weeks. At this point the heart beats in the range of 150-160 beats per minute! Due date: April 5, 2010!
